The Walking Dead Issue #113.
"They March To Certain Doom."
August 14th
thewalkerintolerant-daryldixon and youkill-or-youdie heard the shot.
Andrea held her gun out straight in both hands, ready for anything to attack. She had to be quick on her feet at times like this. She had just killed two walkers and more could be around. The woods were too eerily quiet now. But as she made her way cautiously back to the road, the snap and crack of footsteps was heard, and not from her own two feet. Andrea aimed towards the sound, and past brush and trees, could see a figure emerge.

Long Road Ahead || Maggie & Andrea |
sweetxgeorgiaxpeach:
It was rare to see any of them laugh and some of the things she'd done in her younger days did make for some entertaining stories. She shook her head. "Ain't no need to apologize. I laugh at it too seein' as how I turned out after I finally got my head straight. To think I ended up with somebody like Glenn after all that makes me laugh every time I think about it." She said giving a soft laugh as she looks down at the table in front of her.
"Do ya think maybe ya could talk to Rick? Maybe get me on the watch schedule he's got for ya'll? I know Daddy will have somethin' to say 'bout it but if it's what I wanna do ain't no real way to stop me."
It was good to see that in a world gone to shit that two people could still find each other and feed some kind of primal need to feel loved. Whatever their relationship entailed, though it wasn’t the brightest to put labels on anything now a days, it came through as hope from others. Andrea included that not everything was so far gone. There was always more important things to keep in the front of your mind though, Maggie knew this as well.
Andrea nodded, giving a sure look. “I can do that. I don’t see why it would be a problem, for Rick or your dad. We could go talk to him now? I think he may be around.”
Not As It Seems || Rick & Andrea ||
imxnotxyourxgovernor:
Woodbury was a town that seemed to be untouched and in Rick's mind that just wasn't possible. Not with the way the world was today. He knew what his eyes saw but it wasn't what his mind allowed him to believe. Being captured in a good sense of the word by none other than Merle when himself and Glenn went to investigate the helicopter crash Rick sat in what appeared to be someone's apartment from the way it was decorated. He had no idea where they had taken Glenn but the man that came into the room was someone he hadn't been introduced to as of yet.
The pleasantries of meeting someone new wasn't exactly something people did these days and he didn't waste his time but simply followed the man with his eyes until he sat down on the other side of the desk. "Why am I bein' held prisoner here? What happened to Glenn?" Rick asked with a demanding tone completely unaware of just how dangerous this seemingly normal man looking back at him was.
They were there, Rick and Glenn, then all of a sudden gone again. Andrea had hoped for the day when she would see someone, anyone, from the Atlanta group again. But just as quickly as they came back into her life, seconds she was from getting up from behind the brush to see them again, and they were taken away by some men and driven away in cars. Andrea held her back though, it was too dangerous, not knowing what they would be capable of.
They drove away, gone forever again. This wasn’t just Rick and Glenn getting into the car peacefully though. It was a fight, controlled by a tall older man, standing around with the authority and pride of being in charge. Rick and Glenn were tied, blind folded, an forcefully throw into the back seat. Her fists clenched up, brow furred together in anger.
Andrea wouldn’t sit there and let it happen.
When the car engine could barley be heard driving away into the distance, Andrea got to her feet, running to the dirt road, and started to follow the tire tracks. Hopefully they wouldn’t fade out.
They may have not went back for her the night she was separated from everyone at the farm, but Andrea would be dammed if she would leave them behind.

- I love to paint
- Reading is fun too, when I get the time
- The Walking Dead is my favorite show
- But I'm also into Master Chef; really anything that has Gordon Ramsay in it.
- I can't wait for summer
- Because I love the ocean
- But I have many fears about the ocean, it's weird
- I rp with the best people ever, including you!
- My life is really not that exciting
- It would be more fun if I had a boyfriend or husband, anything really
You have really nice eyebrows considering you're in the middle of the apocalypse
Andrea cocked one of her nice brows at the comment, not sure how to take it. "I don't know what that has to do with anything…but thanks."

Walk Into The Sunset - | Shane & Andrea |
whistlingdixiexhittingtargets:
Shane held onto afraid that this was the dream and what he'd lived through was actually the reality. It had been so real that he couldn't stomach the thought of her being gone. There wasn't time to do things right anymore, you had to give your all and hope it didn't come back to bite you in the ass. He'd done just that with her. The second I love you had came out of his mouth he meant it. Closing his eyes when he felt her fingertips make circles on his skin her screaming voice echoed in his head causing him to hold onto her even tighter.
It was the one thing that bothered him, not being able to save the ones he loved. Ever since he'd left King County and seeing one of the boys at the station being ripped apart, a guy he'd went to kindergarten with no less, the same nightmare came except there were different people. Except for Lori, it'd never happened with her for some reason. The one he'd had about Carl had left him shaken for days. This one had been the worst he'd ever had though.
Her voice rang through his ear and then came her plea. Couldn't they just change the subject? He refused to be weak in front of her. This wasn't how it was supposed to work though, he'd promised her. No holding back and if he didn't tell her he'd go back on his word.
"I…I have these…" He kept pausing and buried his face into the top of her head taking in her scent expecting to wake up and see her blood all over his hands. "Nightmares. Have ever since Atlanta. I was too late……" He said feeling his heartbeat starting to race. Not once had he ever talked about it to someone. "I..I felt your blood, it covered me."
Andrea pulled her head back to look Shane into his eyes. He was vulnerable now, and it showed in his face; weak brown eyes averted her’s. She brought a hand, the one not compressed underneath Shane’s body, and held his face in her pale palm. Andrea’s face was stricken with a burdened look. A dream was one thing, nightmares more concerning, but details like blood covering him, actually feeling the warm red liquid run down his arm was completely different.
“No…” Andrea’a voice cooed, denying what he seemed to think was real, going to happen. “I’m fine…I’m here, it’s okay, baby.” She sat her body up from her lying position on the bed. “It was just a bad dream…it will never happen, Shane. Don’t let your mind think that.” Scared, concerned, Andrea just sat there looking down at into Shane’s big brown eyes. “Everyone has those nightmares now. You have to know that they don’t mean anything.” From her own experiences Andrea knew this. It was just your subconscious, screaming out to you, making sure you never forgot your biggest fears.

Beside The Dying Fire Comes The Sweet Light Of Day: Daryl and Andrea
aintyouapeach:
"All clear?" he breathed as he caught sight of her desending the stairs. He was relieved. He'd have known by now if they weren't alone. The noise on the porch was the same, meaning that no more had found their way and were joining in the frenzy. That left him feeling someone sure that by morning, they'd be alone again. Then the real journey started.
They'd have to find their way back to their group, and they had no solid leads unless they left some kind of note at the traffic snarl back on the highway. How he hated that damn place. It was always the source of some kind of disappointment. But he didn't regret defying Rick and returning to look for her. Something deep in his gut had told him that she was alive.
And here she stood in front of him now. He reached out, touching her arm gently. "Ready to raid the cabinets. There's gotta be some kind of food. And wanna know something else? They have gas stove…could be they have a gas water heater, too." He knew she'd know what that meant. A hot shower. They could both use that little bit of normalcy.
Andrea couldn’t help but smile, relief really, accompanied by a happy sigh. Tomorrow morning they would defiantly have to leave, find the others, hopefully. But tonight would be a welcomed look back at reality. Hot water, a bed, food that wasn’t killed that day.
“It’s clear upstairs, to a point.” Andrea looked back up the stairs, then to Daryl’s piercing blue eyes again. “We have a dead dead one up in the hallway closet. Help me throw it out the window?” It sounded bad, just heaving a once living person out the second story window like trash, but they didn’t know the person. And even though it was a sad situation, there was no other way of getting rid of it. “Then we’ll raid the cabinets.”
Light My World [Rick & Andrea]
xshitxhappens:
When Rick opened the door and all they saw were feet, his heart plummeted He felt the breath being pulled from his lungs. He closed his eyes, biting back the taste of bile in his throat. They were too late. They hadn't been quick enough, and he'd let her down. After the shitty way that he'd treated her when she came looking for peace and a better solution. He'd thrown her on the ground and treated her like she was no better than the dirt beneath his shoes. And he'd regretted it all from that very moment that she left the safety of their fence. He felt his knees start to buckle, but then her foot moved.
He pushed passed Daryl and Michonne, dropping to his knees before her. She was drenched in blood, but he hadn't seen a single mark on her. He lifted her chin gently as she struggled to sit up. "You bit?" he breathed. He prayed she said no. He refused to lose her. He wasn't leaving there without her.
He didn't even wait for her to answer before he scooped her up as gently as he could and moved to carry her out and away from her prison. She was welcome in their home. He'd never make her feel unwelcome again. He'd spend the rest of his days atoning for his mistakes. "I shouldn't have let you leave…" His voice was soft, but he knew she heard him. "Just hold on. We'll get you fixed up, Andrea. You'll be good as new." Even better, he vowed.
Andrea felt her heart pound, trying to bring the blood back into full circulation through out her body. The sound of the thumps was load in her ears, and was only broken when she heard the metal door creeked open, people swarming in. She thought it for sure, the Governor and some of his men, ready to finish the job that Milton’s undead self had not accomplished. This was it. All that work, fighting, just to die.
But a familiar face knelled down in front of her, taking a strong, but gentle hand to her face to examine her exposed skin. Rick. And as she looked around, tilting head, and eyes adjusting to the huge spotlight hanging from the ceiling, there was Daryl and Michonne. She wasn’t bit, but there was a genuine concern in the former Sheriff’s face about such a thing. She was about to reply back to his question before being scooped up and carried away by Rick, promising in a soft voice that she would be okay.
One of Andrea’s arms rapped around his neck, lifting her tired eyes to meet his big ones. “I’m not bit.” Her voice raised up, rusty from screaming so much. “I’m fine.” She reassured him.
